Rising number of unfair dismissal cases

Many solicitors firms in Birmingham are seeing sharp rises in enquiries about redundancies and unfair dismissal, reflecting national trends, as a result of the recession.

This trend may be set to continue as a survey by KPMG showed 32% of employers expect to make some employees redundant over the next three months.
