Do You Qualify Legal Aid?

The short answer to this is: probably.

Based on Legal Aid Agency guidelines, if the Local Authority issue care proceedings for a child then legal aid will be granted on a non-means basis for anyone who has Parental Responsibility for the child or who is a biological parent of a child.  This does not mean that others will not qualify but they will be subject to a means and merit’s assessment. A care solicitor will go through the individual requirements on a case by case basis.

If Legal Aid is not available, then the issue of the costs will be discussed on an individual

So, The Only Thing You Need To Worry About Is Fighting Your Case
If Legal Aid is granted, then you don’t need to worry about things like fees and expensive court costs. You need to put everything you’ve got into keeping your head up and fighting your case, whatever it takes.

Your best and safest course of action is to contact us and let us help you.
