In this case, we represented a father. Allegations were made as to the cause of subdural haemorrhages sustained by one of the children. Medical experts were instructed. They accepted the explanation provided by the father that he shook the child in panic when he thought that the child was not breathing. The children were returned initially to the care of the mother with a plan in place for the gradual return of the father to the family home. The case concluded under a 6 month Supervision Order.
