Having successfully secured the children’s interim placement at home for the duration of the Court proceedings under an Interim Care Order, the Local Authority at Final Hearing then sought to separate the siblings with a plan for the eldest child to remain living at home under a final Care Order and for the three youngest siblings to be removed from their parents care and placed in long term foster care. Following receipt of the parent’s final statements, the Local Authority then amended its final care plans for the children to one of continued placement at home under a final Care Order.
