In this case, we represented a mother. Tragically, the family suffered the loss of a child and rib fractures were identified post mortem. A finding of fact hearing concluded that the parents were responsible for the fractures, and whilst not intentional something happened whilst in their care prior to the death. Work was done with the family. The siblings were returned to the care of their parents under a 6 month Supervision Order.
