In this case, we represented a father. Allegations were made about the causation of subdural, spinal and retinal haemorrhages. This was an extremely complex matter with numerous experts instructed including an ENT surgeon and oncologist. A finding of fact hearing found that the father had caused the injuries in panic or he was unaware of what he was doing and as such this fell below the level of care expected. The children were returned to the mother immediately with her supervising the father. This was an exceptional family with an unblemished history and extremely high levels of care offered. The case concluded with No Order.
